An Israeli soldier died Sunday of wounds sustained in a Hezbollah attack on an army outpost along the northern border. Sgt. Ofir Mishal, 20, from Ma’aleh Adumim, sustained head injuries in the Hezbollah mortar and missile attack Aug. 29 on the Har Dov outpost. Israeli officials have expressed concern that the attack was part of Hezbollah efforts to escalate tensions along the northern border.
