An Israeli soldier killed a U.N. official in Jenin last Friday, army investigators concluded. Iain Hook, a British man who ran a U.N. project to rebuild homes in the Jenin refugee camp, was killed during an exchange of gunfire between Israeli troops and Palestinian gunmen. Soldiers mistakenly thought he was holding for a weapon, the army said.
