An Israeli soldier was killed and another seriously wounded in a Palestinian drive-by shooting. Thursday’s attack took place at an Israeli checkpoint on the border with Tulkarm in the West Bank. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz identified the slain soldier as Yaron Pikholz, 20, from Ramat Gan.
