An Israeli woman was sentenced to nine months in prison for failing to tell police about the plot to assassinate Yitzhak Rabin. Margalit Har-Shefi, who expressed remorse for her actions for the first time after the sentencing, could have been sentenced for up to two years. Har-Shefi was a law student at Bar-Ilan University with Yigal Amir, who assassinated Rabin in November 1995.
