An official with the Simon Wiesenthal Center reiterated on Lithuanian television his desire to have Lithuania prosecute its suspected Nazi criminals before they become too ill. Efraim Zuroff, who last week submitted a list of 97 Lithuanians suspected of collaborating with the Nazis to the Lithuanian Prosecutor General’s Office, criticized the country’s authorities for delaying trials of war crimes suspects.
