An organizer of a planned march by Israeli settlers to protest any further land transfers to the Palestinians admitted he “may have made a mistake” in naming the procession “March of the Living.” The march to Jerusalem uses the same name as an annual procession between the Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps in Poland in which young people retrace the steps Jews took to their deaths.
