An Orthodox Jewish high school basketball star shared the Most Valuable Player award at a recent national All-Star game. Tamir Goodman won the award at the 27th Annual Reebok Classic after leading his team of players from the Washington area to a 112-101 victory over a team representing the United States. Goodman, who made national headlines last year when he announced he would not violate the Sabbath when he plays college basketball, is slated to attend Towson University in Maryland in the fall.
