An umbrella group of Swiss Jews sent a letter to each member of the Swiss Parliament’s lower house Tuesday calling for lifting the immunity of a Swiss legislator who called last July for a boycott of “Jewish and American stores.” The letters sent by the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities regarding Rudolf Keller, the head of the Swiss Democratic Party, came after similar letters were sent by nearly 4,000 Swiss leaders last week. The Swiss Parliament is expected to vote on the issue later this month.
