The Anatomical Institute of Warsaw University was reopened in a surcharged atmosphere with the head of the Institute, Professor Loth, himself adding fuel to the flames.
“We professors always tolerate student excesses, but only when the University property is undamaged,” declared Professor Loth. “Unfortunately the latest excesses also caused 200 zloty damages to the University. Therefore energetic measures for the suppression of the excesses were adopted.”
This declaration was made by Professor Loth after he had read an official communication from the rector of Warsaw University warning the students that serious consequences would ensue if the disturbances were repeated.
In this connection the Jewish press asks whether excesses will be tolerated if the University furniture is not damaged.
Professor Loth is notorious for his anti-Semitism.
