Does the Jewish boycott proclaimed against Spain in the fifteenth century, during the Spanish Inquisition, still hold good?
This inquiry was addressed today to the World Organization of the Mizrachi, Jewish orthodox Zionist party, by the Mizrachi educational organization, Jabne, in connection with the forthcoming festivities in commemoration of the birth of the Rambam, the Jewish philosopher, in Cordoba.
The Jabne organization wanted to know whether it is permissible to send delegates to Cordoba to participate in the festivities since the ancient “Cherem” against Spain has never been recalled.
