A request by a group of British businessmen to set up in London an Anglo-Arab Chamber of Commerce has remained without response from the government for several months and Arab embassies were today reported annoyed about it. Mahmoud Riad, the Secretary General of the Arab League, who visited London for a few days, expected to perform the opening ceremony while here, and he was also reported to have left in an angry mood. The Department of Trade refuses to give any reasons for the delay. An Anglo-Israel Chamber of Commerce has been operating here since 1948.
