The Anglo-Israel Chamber of Commerce has been exploring the future prospects of trade between Britain and Israel, particularly during the years when the Jewish State will be unable to pay for its imports from Britain with its own exports, it was announced here last night at the first annual general meeting of the organization.
It was revealed that the Chamber has been holding exploratory talks with various British Government department with this problem in mind. Trade between the two countries has increased slightly in the three years between 1949 and 1951, it was reported. Israel M. Sieff was re-elected chairman of the body.
