Prime Minister J. Ramsay MacDonald will formally open the Anglo-Palestine exhibition here June 7, it was announced yesterday. Particular significance is attached to this in view of the general political situation and the position in the world’s eye which Palestine has assumed as a result of the persecutions of the Jews in Germany.
The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Keren Kayemeth (Jewish National Fund), with Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope, High Commissioner of Palestine, and Lord Reading as patrons.
