A proclamation has been addressed to university students throughout Roumania by Minister of Education Anghelescu, announcing that the universities which are now closed by reson of the recent anti-Semitic disturbances will reopen January 22, and inviting all students to return to their classes.
The Jewish students are particularly requested to return to the lecture rooms, the invitation being coupled with the assurance that the anti-Semitic agitation will not be repeated, and if there is a recurrence the perpetrators will be punished.
As a solution to the dissection problem, the Government has ordered that all corpses unclaimed by relatives or friends be used in the service of science, irrespective of creed.
