The father of the late Anne Frank has contributed $50, 000 for the establishment of a special scholarship fund for gifted children of Youth Aliyah, international agency for the rescue and relief of homeless Jewish children and their rehabilitation in Israel. Mr. Frank, who made the contribution to Youth Aliyah through Hadassah, asked that the fund be set up in memory of his daughters, Margo and Anne.
This announcement was made today by Mrs. A. P. Schoolman, Hadassah’s national Youth Aliyah chairman. She said that in accordance with Mr. Frank’s wishes, the fund will be used for scholarships especially in the arts and sciences.
