The 42nd anniversary of Theodor Herzl’s death, which fell on Friday, was commemorated today by hundreds of Jews representing all Jewish organizations in Austria who gathered at the Zionist leader’s grave. Many young people carried banners which had remained hidden throughout the German occupation. The memorial ceremonies concluded with the singing of Hatikvah.
