The fifteenth anniversary of the formation of the first committee of the American Jewish Congress will be observed with a dinner to be given Sunday evening, February 16, at the Hotel Pennsylvania. Many prominent communal leaders from New York and other cities, as well as the heads of important large organizations which have been identified with the Congress movement, will be present on this occasion.
In a number of addresses to be delivered, leading events of recent Jewish history having to do with the struggle of Jewish rights will be reviewed, and present conditions here and abroad will be surveyed by the different speakers. Among those who will address the dinner are Rev. Dr. John Haynes Holmes, Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Bernard S. Deutsch, Nathan D. Perlman, David L. Podell, Carl Sherman and Bernard G. Richards.
