In solemn rites conducted at the Great Synagogue, the 22nd anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising against the Nazi army was observed here today. Delegates representing patriotic organizations and associations of war veterans participated in the rites. After the ceremonies at the synagogue, the participants marched silently through the city’s streets to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where the flame of the eternal light was refueled by Col. Joseph Golar, the military attache of the Israeli Embassy here.
