The subject of Liberal Judaism and present day thought will be discussed from three angles, idea of God, prayer, and personal belief, at the World Conference of Liberal Judaism in London, it was announced today by the World Executive of Liberal Jews. These three subjects will be considered in relation to the latest findings of natural and spiritual science.
Speakers from America, England and Germany will address the conference which will be held from June 19 to June 21. Prominent scientists and writers will also address mass meetings on Liberalism and the spiritual position of present-day Jewry. The conference will be followed by a youth and women’s conference. The World Executive has also decided to organize Liberal communities societies in South Africa, Australia and Poland.
The World Conference will consider the difficulties in Eastern Europe where the Jewish marriage law does not conform with the laws of the state.
