The establishment of a chair at the Hebrew University, to be devoted to land problems, was announced here by M. Ussishkin, head of the Jewish National Fund, at a tea given by the Society of the Friends of the Hebrew University at the King David Hotel. Chancellor Magnes of the University, Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver of the United States, and Mr. Justice Gad Frumkin of the Palestine High Court were present at the tea. Mr. Ussishkin stated that the Jewish National Fund would contribute £500 annually for the chair.
