The American Near East Corporation has been organized here to promote business between the United States and Palestine, it was announced yesterday by Botho Lilienthal, who will be its president.
Mr. Lilienthal decided to organize the company following a visit to the Levant Fair last year and a survey of conditions in Palestine. Associated with him are L. H. Greenbaum, vice-president: H. Vincent Smart and Henry J. Bernheim, directors. Headquarters for the firm will be in Haifa. Mr. Lilienthal, who is president of Amerika – Interessen, Inc., will leave for Palestine this week.
