The tenth annual American-Israel dialogue bringing together leading American Jewish intellectuals and prominent Israeli thinkers and public figures, will open here next Monday. Foreign Minister Abba Eban will address the opening session. The theme of this year’s dialogue is “The Relationship Between Jews and Revolutionary Force.”
Participants in the dialogue, sponsored by the American Jewish Congress, will include AJCongress president Rabbi Arthur Hertzberg and Rabbi Arthur Lelyveld, former president; also Prof. Theodore Draper, of Princeton. Israeli panelists will include Yitzhak Ben Aharon, Secretary General of Histadrut; Herut leader Menachem Beigin and author Amos Elon.
