More than 400 delegates and guests from the most important Jewish communities in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, North Carolina and South Carolina are attending the eighth annual Zionist Conference of the Seaboard Region now in session in the Monticello Hotel here.
The first session of the conference was opened this morning by Harry T. Kellman, of Baltimore, president of the Seaboard Region. Leaders of national importance will address the sessions which will continue for two days.
Special attention will be given to the problems confronting the Zionists as a result of recent developments in Palestine.
