Over three hundred delegates, representing the more than 75,000 contributors to the Keren Hayesod in this country, are expected to attend the annual meeting of the National Council of the Keren Hayesod on Feb. 21, to hear reports on the work of the Keren Hayesod during the past year and lay plans for future work in the development of Palestine.
The conference, coming in the midst of the United Palestine Appeal, is expected to be one of the outstanding meetings in the five years’ history of the Keren Hayesod. Chaim Nachman Bialik, Dr. Schmarya Levin and Nahum Sokolow will deliver the principal addresses.
The annual meeting of the National Council has been convened by Morris Rothenberg, National Chairman of the Keren Hayesod Board of Directors, who will preside. Elections of delegates are now taking place throughout the country. Reports on the work of the Keren Hayesod during the past year will be submitted by Mr. Rothenberg, Hermann Conheim, Treasurer; William Edlin, Secretary; and Jacob Siegel, Chairman, Finance Committee. Emanuel Neumann, National Director of the United Palestine Appeal will report on the progress of the Appeal.
