Police today announced that they are investigating the kidnapping of another Jerusalem resident, the eighth to be abducted in recent weeks. The new victim is Yehoshua Werker, 31, the proprietor of a print shop. Werker, like several of the kidnapped men, is a member of the Revisionist Organization. He was abducted on Tuesday evening, the police reveal.
No trace has been found of Daniel Jakowsky, an employee of the Jerusalem Jewish Community Council, and 17-year-old Mordechai Korngold, who were taken from their homes by armed men last Saturday, but their families have received letters stating that they are safe and well. The letters bore the postmark of the Jerusalem post-office.
