An Israel Army spokesman warned today that “the severest possible measures” would be taken in the future to prevent violation of the Jewish state’s air regulations. His warning was made following an announcement stating that an unidentified, twin-engined plane appeared over Israel several days ago without authorization.
The craft flew across the northern Galilee in an easterly direction. The Israel spokesman recalled today that in the past frequent warnings have been issued by Israel authorities prohibiting the unscheduled flights of foreign craft over the Jewish state’s territory, outside the prescribed air corridors leading to the Lydda or Haifa airports.
