The American Counter-Intelligence Corps is investigating the origin of anti-British posters in Yiddish, one of which appeared on the Fifth Army Headquarters building here, it was learned today. Signed by the Irgun Zvai Leumi, the posters have been placed on various buildings in this city as well as on roads leading to it.

One of the posters, picturing British soldiers beating a Jew in Tel Aviv, was labelled: “English Gestapo Murder Jewish Traveler in Tel Aviv.” Other posters were captioned, “The Jewish people must be free or die; Jewish youth, here is your enemy!” “Youth, get your guns to fight for our people and fatherland!”
