–The Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, at the concluding session of its 44th annual national meeting here, voted last night its 1957 America’s Democratic Legacy Award to the 85th Congress for enacting the first Federal civil rights law in 82 years. The award, a silver medallion, will be presented at a dinner in Washington next spring.
Benjamin Greenberg of New York was elected treasurer of the ADL to succeed the late Jacob Alson. Bernard Nath of Chicago was reelected chairman of the executive committee. Paul H. Sampliner of New York was elected vice-chairman.
