“Hitler’s Reign of Terror,” which opened in the Hollywood Theatre, has been withdrawn after two showings. This action came as a result of protests by Alphonse Karl, German consul, and Herman Schmidt, importer, on behalf of the German-American United Front.
V. Spencer Balser, manager of the theatre, declared the house had been leased for the run of “Hitler’s Reign of Terror” by Jewel Productions, Inc., producers of the Cornelius Vanderbilt film.
