Anti-Israel propaganda organizations are increasing their operations in Washington. President Harold B. Minor of the “American Friends of the Middle East” has confirmed that his group will move its national headquarters to Washington in September.
The Rev. Edward L.R. Elson, President Eisenhower’s pastor, is AFME’s Washington representative and a member of its board of directors. AFME has carried on continuous anti-Israel propaganda, favoring the Arab cause generally and especially propagandizing against Israel on the Arab refugee issue.
The Arab information center, supported by the Arab League, now shares office space with the so-called “continuing committee on Muslim-Christian cooperation. ” Operations were opened here in June by the Arab Information Center, a registered foreign agency.
The anti-Zionist American Council for Judaism opened a Washington office a few weeks ago to maintain contact with the national scene.
