Anti-Jewish riots occurred in Posen late Thursday afternoon on the eve of Independence Day marking the tenth anniversary of the country’s independence, states a dispatch from Posen to the Warsaw Yiddish daily, “Der Moment.”
Jewish passersby were beaten and Jewish shops were plundered on Wielka and Obozna streets.
