Germany’s November trade figures show the cost of anti-Jewish excesses, the New York times reported today from Berlin. Exports from “Great Germany” declined to 453.100,000 marks, a drop of almost 8 percent, compared to the previous month and almost 80,000,000 marks, below the exports of the old Reich territory alone in November of last year. The decline contrasted sharply with improvements shown by Britain, France and many other countries. German business circles frankly attribute the decline to the anti-Jewish excesses of Nov. 10 and also those in Austria following Anschluss.
