Serious anti-Jewish excesses were perpetrated in Debreczyn, Hungary, according to a report received here from Budapest today.
A despatch from Budapest relates that 7 Budapest Jews and 12 non-Jewish workingmen were sentenced to a fine and to jail terms for beating an anti-Semitic student during the anti-Jewish riots on Friday. They pleaded self-defense.
