The newspaper Hefto Reggel reports that imminent extension of Hungary’s anti-Semitic program to secondary schools will bar all but 40 Jewish students from Budapest’s high schools. Hitherto applied only to universities, the anti-Jewish measures will now be enforced in all State and municipal secondary schools, the newspaper said. Jewish students permitted to continue their studies in the public schools will be segregated in special classes, it was stated. The Jewish Community, how ever, will be permitted to open additional classes in their privately-financed schools.
