Many Jews were injured and homes, a synagogue and places of business damaged in disorders reported today from several localities in Rumania. Thirty-eight Jewish houses were practically destroyed in Balotina, a suburb of Baltzi, Bessarabia, by uniformed storm troopers, wielding iron bars and clubs, who beat Jews and escaped before gendarmes arrived.
