Two deaths were recorded today as the tell of recent anti-Jewish excesses in various parts of Poland.

In Lwow, Samuel Rosenberg, a Jewish student at the University of Lwow, died of wounds he received in the course of an attack by Endeks (members of the National Democratic Party) upon Jewish students at the university. The attacks occurred three days ago.

Abraham Rosenblum, 14-year old boy, died of wounds received Saturday when a synagogue in Pogon, near Sosnowiec, was bombed.

Meanwhile, anti-Jewish attacks continued in many parts of the country. Endek students in Lodz yesterday burglarized stores in the poor quarter of the town and attacked their proprietors. The assailants were arrested.

At Dobrowa, a synagogue was entered during the night and plundered. The Holy Ark was desecrated and many silver ornaments stolen.

The Jewish Deputies Club of the Sejm, lower Parliamentary house, yesterday stated to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that Senators Schorr and Rubenstein and Deputy Emil Sommerstein have made representations to government authorities about the excesses.

The funeral of Nalewki Wladislaw Rossa, 23-year-old son of a night watchman, who was killed after a quarrel, was for the most part orderly despite attempts by Endeks to characterize the death as an attempt by Jews to revenge recent anti-Semitic disturbances in the city of Grodno.

The procession to the cemetery avoided the Jewish quarter of Warsaw. Returning from the cemetery, a number of students smashed the windows of a few Jewish-owned shops on the principal streets of Warsaw.

The Endek newspapers charged yesterday that the murders of Rossa were members of the Jewish Tailors Union or of the Morgenstern, a Jewish labor sports club, whose offices are in the same building in which Rossa’s father was a night watchman.

A police investigation of the killing cleared members of both organizations. The office of the Morgenstern, which had been closed the past few days, reopened yesterday.

Meanwhile, the rector of the Warsaw Polytechnic High School suspended indefinitely his lectures after an attack by Endeks on Jewish students in the auditorium, which was repulsed by the Jewish students with the assistance of Socialists.

In Lwow, student disorders which broke out yesterday continued today in a number of high schools. An unascertainale number of Jewish students were injured and one passer-by, who was attacked while passing the scene of one of the disorders.

A Jewish tailor named Moische Zwischel was seriously injured in an assault by anti-Semitic students while delivering a suit of clothes to a professor.

Persistent rumors of disorders in the city of Cracow are untrue, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency established today.
