The Jewish Peoples Council against Fascism and Anti-Semitism announced today the launching of an intensive drive for a boycott of German goods in Great Britain. “We are convinced that Britain, the Empire and other democratic countries can supply alternative goods of equal if not better value than those imported from Nazi Germany,” the council said in a statement. “That such a boycott can be effective is shown by the example of the United States….An effective boycott of Nazi goods and services will go a long way towards ending those horrible practices that today are associated with Nazi Germany.”
