Enlargement of the scope of the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League was advocated by delegates at an emergency meeting of the organization held in the Hotel Astor today. More than 200 delegates unanimously voted to hold the annual convention in New York May 15 at which time definite plans will be made.
J.H. Steel, executive director of the organization, declared that there were 250,000 members and sympathizers of the Nazi Bund in the United States organized in gymnastic units. Other speakers included Mrs. Mark Harris, acting chairman of the executive committee, Gerhard Schnep, Austrian refugee, Dr. Kurt Rosenfeld, former Prussian Minister of Justice and Louis Meyer, treasurer.
