Private hearings of the Congressional committee investigating Nazi and other foreign activities will be diverted to Communists today, when Samuel Dickstein, vice-chairman of the group, interviews a number of alleged reds in the Bar Association Building on West Forty-fourth street.
While names of those subpoenaed to appear could not be ascertained yesterday, it is learned that they took occasion to annoy the Congressman at his home here recently. It is reported that they forced entrance into his home where they entered upon a lengthy harangue for work and bread.
So far as is known no Nazis will appear at hearings this week.
Announcement was made yesterday that open hearings in the Nazi investigation will be held at the Supreme Court here on July 9. Other private executive sessions are scheduled for July 5, 6 and 7. Committee members are leaving for the Pacific Coast on July 25 to quiz Nazis there.
