Over the protest of delegates from Germany, the world congress of Maccabi, Jewish sports organization at its session in Bruenn today adopted a resolution requesting that “Jews be freed from participation in the Berlin Olympiad in 1936.”
The resolution is addressed to “the World Olympics Committee and also other sports authorities” and cites as reason for the request the Jewish position in Germany.
The delegates from Germany voted against the resolution.
