One hundred and thirty-one Jewish candidates were victorious in the municipal elections in Eastern and Western Galicia the poll today revealed. The pro-government party secured an overwhelming majority of the seats, badly defeating the anti-Semitic anti-government factions.
In Cracow, thirteen Jewish candidates were elected to the municipal council and 40 pro-government party candidates.
