The anti-Semitic agitation, demanding the expropriation of the property of East European Jews resident in Germany, is being renewed with greater intensity as the date of the plebiscite concerning the confiscation of the Hohenzollern property approaches. The plebiscite will take place on June 20 and the anti-Semitic press, the organs of the German Right parties, allege that the Jews are behind the project to confiscate the property of the Hohenzollern family.

Alfred Cohn, a Johannesburg attorney, is the accredited representative of the ex-Kaiser in the High Court of Windhoek, Southwest Africa, where an application by the ex-Kaiser for an order affecting the property of his family in Southwest Africa is to be huard soon, a despatch from Johannesburg to the New York “Times” states.

The former Kaiser’s petition is for a declaration that the provisions of the Treaty of Versailles do not apply to the family trust of the Hohenzollerns. as represented by him, for an order against the administrator restraining him from dealing with the family’s property, and an order to the registrar of deeds to restore the name of the Hohenzollern family trust in his office as owner of the property in question.
