Agitation by the German Party in Memel against the Jews, which reached great heights during the campaign before the December elections, has since decreased, Premier V. Mironas of Lithuania told the Kaunas correspondent of the Daily Telegraph in an interview published today. “The Lithuanian Government has expressed itself in the strongest terms against any discrimination against minorities, including the Jewish minority,” Father Mironas said in referring to reports of anti-Semitism abroad.
