Anti-semitic Disturbances in Hungary; Synagogue Attacked

Anti-Semitic demonstrations have occurred in the Jewish quarter of the provincial town of Gyoerraab. During the Sabbath services, the synagogue was attacked and the windows broken. Only one demonstrator was arrested.

The Jewish population fears renewed attacks as the authorities have accused the young Zionists of molesting Hungarian scouts during a march in celebration of a Hungarian National festival.

At Debreczen, about 200 Hungarian Hakenkreuzler, who were endeavoring to disturb the elections of the Board of local cooperatives on the ground that too many Jews were associated with it, were dispersed by the police.
