Anti-Semitic leaflets containing excerpts from the notorious "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" and illustrations similar to those that appeared in the Nazi newspaper, Der Stuermer, have been circulated in coal fields in various parts of Australia, it was reported here. Most of the leaflets were printed in South Africa, one was issued in Melbourne.

"Common Cause," organ of the miners union, commenting on anti-Semitic sheets distributed at the coal fields near Kurri-Kurri, said the "hysterical anti-Jewish outbursts on the basis of kosher killing of beasts at abbatoirs could not have been surpassed by the master of Jew-baiting and Red-baiting, Dr. Goebbels." Observers here believe that newly-arrived pro-fascist immigrants have been aiding Australians in disseminating the anti-Semitic propaganda.
