Gerald L. K. Smith’s Christian Nationalist Party announced today that it will enter the name of General Douglas MacArthur as a Presidential candidate on ballots in at least 19 states.
Gen. MacArthur has so far refused to repudiate the Christian Nationalist Party or Smith, its leader. The Party made known that it has already filed a slate of electors for the MacArthur ticket in Texas and Missouri. It is working now to get them on the ballot in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Colorado, Utah Nebraska, Washington, California, New Mexico, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Virginia, Rhode Island, and Wyoming.
