Copies of Conde McGinley’s “Common Sense, ” featuring a vicious attack on the Adolf Eichmann trial, were distributed throughout the press section of the United Nations today by a man some observers identified as McGinley himself.
The issue distributed was that of May 15, which devoted nearly all of its four pages to the Eichmann case. The distribution apparently was planned to coincide with the visit to the United Nations today of Italian Prime Minister Amintore Fanfani, when scores of correspondents were present. The distribution, however, took place hours after Mr. Fanfani had departed, and only a handful of correspondents remained. McGinley is not accredited to the United Nations.
