Anti-Semitic publications have started a campaign a gainst the appointment of Mrs. Anna M. Rosenberg to the post of Assistant Secretary of Defense. The sheets point out her Jewish background.

Especially active in this campaign is the publication “Common Sense,” issued in Union, New Jersey, which has a long history of fomenting hatred against the Jews, and the “Williams Intelligence Summary,” published by Robert H. Williams, who is described by the Anti-Defamation League of the B’nai B’rith as “one of the most vicious anti-Semites in the country.” Gerald L.K. Smith, founder of the Christian Nationalist Crusade, is similarly linked up with the campaign against Mrs. Rosenberg.
