Anti-Semitic shouts were heard yesterday at a mass meeting of some 3,000 Germans protesting the death sentences imposed on 24 Nazi offenders over a year ago.
During the demonstration, which was held outside Landsberg prison, some 300 displaced Jews in the audience began to shout “down with the murderers,” whose scheduled execution in the jail has been postponed several times. Police ejected several of the DP’s and the Germans took up the favorite Nazi chant of “Juden, raus”–“Jews, get out.”
