British newspapers report the following Vienna incident: One day the slogan “Out with the Jews” was chalked on walls. Next morning under each inscription there was found the added line, “In with the Nazis.” Troops were rushed to the scene to remove the second slogan, while Vienna laughed covertly. The reason was that the walls on which the slogan had been written surrounded a cemetery.
